Max I. Walker Uniform Rental Service announces that it has acquired the City of Onawa, IA as a new uniform rental services customer. Sales Consultant Tom Brouwer worked with the municipality to determine their uniform rental and facility services needs, and successfully won the business after presenting information about Max I. Walker and how local vs. national uniform providers compare.
The City of Onawa is not new to uniform rental. The city was using a national uniform services provider before, but made the switch to family owned and locally operated Max I. Walker Uniform Rental Service in April 2019. According to Randy Larson, the city decided to change to a new vendor because with their previous national uniform services provider, they were not getting their garments back in a timely manner, and they were coming back still dirty and unrepaired.
The weekly deliveries will be serviced by Route Service Representative Chris Gabry. Chris will deliver clean work shirts, work pants and entryway mats each week to 12 employees of the City of Onawa.
